I have just seen these pictures and wondered about the tallies in this, is
it cluny because the leaf tallies meet in the middle to work that centre,
rather than windmill crossings or whatever in other pieces?
I bought a piece of lace about this wide some years ago (now I wonder where
I put it away safe), and after reading all the previous stuff about these
kinds of laces I expect it might be machine made. Still I bought it because
I liked it but have not found a use for it yet. mind you knowing where it is
might be an advantage here, <g>.

While we were out shopping for last minute props and costumes for the HS
musical this past weekend, we were at a flea market and I always hastely
glance for any lace paraphenalia. I managed to rescue this cluny lace
insertion.
