Dear Arachnids I have also been learning and teaching for over 30 years and there is still so much for me to learn. I do not know all the answers, but I have pleanty of books and am prepared to be given homework. Like Jacquie I encourage students to have one pillow with a large easy piece to make lace for relaxation, and a pillow for smaller pieces or samples for learning. Needless to say, I also havestudents who come maily for the social side and prefer to make a large easy piece, and that's OK with me.
