Oh dear, few so far seem to like using rayon for their lace LOL. Lately I've bypassed the thread displays if they are rayon, even though the colour choice is enticing...I have used it in the past (Sulky brand), with some success, for Christmas ornaments where I was changing colours of the weaver bobbin for tallies. I wanted shiny solid colours to go with metallics. The lace was fiddly, but the rayon thread behaved itself, if the metallic didn't :p
I was not going to wear this ornament though - it would be sealed in a display case (a plastic CD-case, even) - now I wonder if anyone has tried rayon for wearable lace and found that a waste of time?
