I agree it is a disease. However it is a very nice disease and is very addictive. D you find yourself sitting up to 3.a.m. to sort out that piece of the pattern which is giving trouble, or even wake from a deep sleep having solved the problem in your sleep. I have, and I bet you will find many lacemakers have. Like Alex Stillwell I also have heard Joan Tyler say the same thing.

Lacemaking is for enjoying.
