Don't exaggerate; we did, too, have spring, before moving to summer. *At least* two days of it :)
Vis Fouriscot/Fouriscot "imprint" books... I only have one -- Mick Fouriscot/Mylene Salvador; La Dentelle de Bayeux -- and found it, in general, fairly easy to follow, even though my French doesn't even stretch to the restaurant repertoir (I have about 5 words, one of them not acceptable on a family-oriented list). And, whenever I ran into a *particular* problem that I couldn't solve myself, there was always someone here (on Arachne), who could translate a snippet for me.
