A baby rattle? It says the rings move freely. They might make a noise.
Definitely not a lace bobbin.

On another subject.....The art gallery where I might be teaching a class in a
few weeks wants some of my lace to sell, or at least to display with a price on
it. That gives me three problems....what do I want to display (with the
possibility that it might be sold), what price should I put on each item, and
how can I mount them to hang on a wall. Since I make lace for fun, I haven't
thought much about pricing and displaying other than my 3-sided board I use for
demos.

I thought about shaping a wire so it had several 'fingers' sticking out from
one base to display bookmarks and ornaments without having to frame each one.
The frame could hang from one nail/hook. Other than that, all I could think of
was to mount each item on a backing and frame it someway.

I'll have to see what I can do in the next few days. The following two weeks
will have at least 3 days a week of demo for the Historical Society. All the
fourth grade classes are coming for tours and they want various crafts being
worked from 9 till 1 each school day for two weeks. I can't go every day but
will try to be there as much as possible.
