Thanks for the thought..... but my schedule is too tight in the two weeks I
have before the class starts to take on anything else, even trying to get lace
from other sources. I'll try to get some things up within the next 3 months,
and see if there is any interest. If there is, then soliciting lace from other
sources could be viable. There's no way I could keep up a stock of original
laces and have time for anything else. Put this on the 'to do' list for six
months from now. <G> I need to learn more about the procedures at the gallery,
and what percent they take of the sales. I'll report back to the List when I
see how things go.

Clay...We can discuss this when I see you in June.

Meanwhile...If anyone has had experience with selling through an art gallery,
you might comment to the List on your experiences.

Hi Alice...

Since it is so difficult for one person to create an adequate display on short
notice, perhaps you might want to expand your "gallery" to include lace sent to
you by members of this list who would like to have it displayed - and sold (!)
at whatever price they set. This would serve the purpose of providing examples
of many types of lace, would emphasize that there are quite a few people who do
this wonderful art, and finally, it would take some of the burden off of you!!

Think about it...

Clay
