I did do a wrap test of the Thai silk and it came out between 36 and 37 wraps
so probably equivalent to YLI 50, although to my eye when laid next to some
YLI 50 it looks a little finer.

Anyway, I have decided to try a piece from Yvonne Scheele-Kerkhof's beautiful
Floral Bedfordshire book, and hope I don't upset the purists by making Beds in
colored silk.  Is it always made in cotton?

What a lovely friend! Why don't you do a wrap test and see what it compares
to?
