In my upbringing, sky blue pink was an imaginary or nonsense color. The
parents used the term when the kids' questions either became annoying or if it
was to be a surprise/secret and the parents weren't going to give an
informative answer. When Dad started giving nonsense answers, we knew it was
useless to ask more questions.

I have a vague recollection of hearing 'sky blue pink with purple polka-dots'
but I'm not sure where I heard it. My Dad loved to tease us kids so it's the
type of thing he would have said.

When I see a sunset with red/pink mixed with the normal blue, I think about
that saying.

Lace update..... I just made a 3rd version of a bookmark pattern, and was so
pleased with it, until I saw the mistake in the top corner of it. I was hoping
to put it in the local gallery, but now I have to make another one. I can give
this bookmark away, but not sell it.

The class I was listed to teach has been cancelled due to no students. It had
a very short promotion time, so I'm not surprised. But, now, since I know
about this classroom and gallery, we can plan ahead for a class next fall. I
can promote it through the summer at all the demos and county fairs. They can
mention it in several newsletters. The local lace groups be informed and refer
interested people.

Subject: [lace] Sky Blue Pink

So, what color is Sky Blue Pink? I LOVE color, much of my career being based
upon it, and so am very curious! :-)
