My favorite bobbin comes from the company called Lacemaking Circle in 
California.

They don't have every kind of bobbin, but if they have what you want, the price 
is probably good.  They mark two or three styles as special each time I look.  
They have two square bobbins.  One is temporarily out of stock but is listed to 
have more any time now.  You can look to see if they have what you want.

Alice, Where are you finding weekly specials for bobbins?  I don't think I
have ever seen a sale of bobbins anywhere!  Most of the less expensive bobbins
quoted are Midlands.  We prefer to use square continental bobbins for our
beginners.
