Thank you, Lorri -

That *is* some useful information. I am not planning to buy the product, but this is good to know in case I come across something that I do want to know more about.

Hi All,
It would be helpful to contact the manufacturer and request a "MSDS" (Materials-Safety-Data-Sheet). A 'MSDS' is a document that tells in detail all the chemicals/ingredients in any product and any safety issues related to the product. Some chemical products come with this info for others it can be requested from the manufacturer and _must_ be available. Those working in industrial/lab/chemical areas are probably well aware of the MSDS as they must be available to all employees for all the chemicals/products used in a work environment. This would evolve a little time and effort, but it could save a headache along down the line and save a valuable piece of textile. Lorri - with maybe a little more info than you wanted to know.

    Hello Clay and everyone

I was curious, followed your link - and further curious to find
    out the
maker of the product. It is Engleside, who do home care and janitorial
products. Active ingredients aren't given for the various potions,
    which
would help in deciding if 'Restoration' is safe for heirloom textiles.
