Can I just say thank you for the encouragement I had when I first talked about
using silk threads, a complete new thing for me at that time.

I bought gutterman silk, did a small trial piece and then have set about
working on my silk lace garter design which is now close on half way. After
the first inch of lace I have forgotten about what thread it is, just
concentrating on getting the pattern working right and its looking just fine.
Working up no problem. Apart from a couple of times when I forget which way
my half stitch goes first (due to some distraction) I cant tell you how I
thought it would be different, but it works up fine.

So anyone else out there thinking about it, just go for it, apart from being
just a little bit more careful how I filled the bobbins I haven't had any
problems with it as a thread. (I hope I haven't jinxed myself now, <g>)
