I have just come back from some time in Devon. The visit to Allhallows
Museum was absolutely fantastic and viewing the lace in the museum was well
worth the visit. However the lace that they have behind the scenes was
awesome. They tell me that the rotate the lace that is put out every few
months so it all should get some viewing over a period of time. There was
also quite a bit of Pat Perryman's lace on display as well as a beautiful
piece of the British Isles (I am sorry I can't remember her name) that is well
worth seeing. Of course they had some lace prickings on sale and I bought
some as well as the small book on Pat Perryman!! The lady I saw was Mary,
who was very helpful and knowledgeable. If you get this message before you
go it would be wise to ask how long you can have looking at the behind the
scenes lace, we did not and I felt that I could have had more time if I had
asked. Mind you it will be an incentive to go back again. Honiton is a
lovely little town and although it was raining the day that I visited the
museum everyone we spoke to was very friendly and helpful.

I hope you enjoy your trip.
