Hiya to all in Lacingland,
I got a big surprise in the mail yesterday from Margery. I had been
following the post from a person who attended IOLI convention this year. The
subject also got onto chocolate from this person. I happened to write that I
had to wait to go to England years ago before I found a solid white chocolate
candy bar. I happen to LOVE White CHOCOLATE. Anyhow...Margery must have read my
post for I got this surprising package in the mail today. A really big solid
white chocolate candy bar which was Belgium Chocolate and some great postage
stamps and a really beautifully painted pair of lace bobbins. Both of the
bobbins have mice on them and they are so cute.
Times are tough right now since my husband lost his job earlier this year. I
know I had dreams of returning to the UK again someday....but I don't see how
that is possible right now. He is 60 and yes there is suppose to be no job
discrimination...but you know there is ...so finding another job is hard for
him. So this package from Margery really cheered me right up.
Thank you for the chocolate...which was yummy...I have been picking at it
and if anybody else wants to send me solid white chocolate I would love
it...LOL and for the stamps and the beautiful pair of bobbins.
