What Eve says is correct (well spotted!), although not because of majordomo. Arachne's archiving is done with a free service because the majordomo archive hasn't worked for years (probably needs tweaking and I don't have the password). So we use mail-archive.com. Because you have to subscribe a list, it can only accommodate one address per list.
The correct address is [email protected]. If you use l...@don't.panix.com (the old address, which will work for posting purposes but not for archiving), the message won't get archived. If you use [email protected], the message won't get archived. That's why some people don't see their messages in the archive, because they use a different address for posting.
