[lace] Tallies

Many years ago at a lesson with Veronica  Sorenson  the subject of 
tallies came up.  She then proceeded to show us 8 different ways, most 
of which I have forgotten- senior moments!
The weekend course was on Schneerberger lace and was most enjoyable.  
One word of warning, if you try and make the pillow she describes in of 
one of her books where  she has a chapter on Schneeberger,  use  5mm or  
a little thicker  3-plywood, any less and it bends into a crescent shape 
as you  fill it and you end up rolling on the floor in fits of 
laughter.  All the while trying to listen to her, on the phone, telling 
you what to do!
