Hello All! Thank you for posting the "keepvid" info. I successfully
downloaded David's & Tess' material to my flash drive. Must remember not to
step on it or store it in my sock!! ;-) I especially enjoyed the part when I
confidently clicked on "trust this site" (Thank You Avital!) after I got the
usual dire warning from Internet Explorer. The thrill of poking a fork in Bill
Gates gave me the giggles. I attempted the other method using Tools, Internet
Options etc. but no soap. Nor was I able to download Jean Leader's video but
assume that she will leave it posted for posterity?! Then came the post about
Barbara Underwood's book on Beds & I couldn't believe my eyes. Heretofore I
have relied on the library for specialty books, but of course that was before I
moved to the disfunctional state of PA where there is still no state budget
(since July 1) & they have proposed eliminating ILL, PA access & other library
funding. Andrew Carnegie must be spinning in his grave. I
actually bought that book when I attended Lace Guild UK summer school! Sue
D. brought a selection from The Hollies & Sue W. helped me select several books
that would be meaningful/helpful at this point in my "lace career". Big Thank
You to both. I hope they repeat their efforts next year as this is another
good reason to attend the program(me). So armed with all this material, I will
take a long planned tally lesson this week--1/1000th, 2/1000th... Sincerely,
Susan, in Erie where 18 pillowcases with French seams are finished & neatly
stacked awaiting the quilt show/sale. Quoth the raven, nevermore.
