My friends Gianna and Vanna in northern Italy are going to a lace exibition in Cantù <http://www.merletti.it/index.php?lingua=2>. This is actually a biennial event with courses, lectures, exhibitions and vendors. This year it will take place from October 18th to November 8th. (I'm so jealous!)
