I have just purchased a new book it is "Suffolk Lace and the Lacemakers of Eye" written by Nicky- Howener Townsend who is a fellow member of Arachne.
It is an extremely informative, interesting book and really well written and includes 39 patterns of Suffolk Lace which have been in the in the V & A Museum in London since 1875 which have all been re-worked and re-drawn by Nicky. I really must congratulate you Nicky on a job well done and proof of all your hard work over the years it has taken to produce such a remarkable book. I was particularly interested because of the closeness of Suffolk to where I live, only about 10 miles away and until recently was unaware of the existence of "Suffolk Lace" and as I really love any point ground lace this is going to be yet another lace to my bow, so to speak.
