The garnet inlays remind me very much of some of the Viking burial ship hoard
?Sutton Hoo. There were some exquisite garnet inlaid pieces there, - buckles,
I think. This is such an exciting find - for lovers of history, anyway!

Lace content - I have just started a Bucks Point handkie edge. It is a good
thing the book has excellent diagrams, as the deisgner is a bit "radical, and
things are not always done the traditional way!!
I am working from "Lace. australian wildflowers in Bucks Point lace" by Elwyn
Kenn. Very pretty patterns that take a bit of concentration -- well, from me
, anyway!!!

I do far too much Beds, so have to get my brain into gear for other laces!!!
:)) I am using a 100 Finca thread, and DMC Coton a Broder #25 for the gimp.

Also, thanks for the timely Reminder, Clay, about phishing and spam. I never
do any banking on the Internet, I keep a teller in a job!!! - though I do
have Paypal, but I know they never send emails to me.
