Yes, Diana, you are correct. It was done in 2002 by Rita Thienpondt, and the title was "De sierlijkheid van de Mechelse kant".

One of the reasons that this lace is so difficult is that the ground is a braided ground, and is worked without supporting pins! The pins are used only around the motifs. The lace is quite lovely, but very difficult to execute because of the groundwork.
