Thank You Shirley! I've been shopping for wellies after my 15yr old pair sprung a leak. Nordstrom's had at least a dozen perfectly wretched colors/styles so I thought I'd give up until spring. You've saved the day & I can hardly wait until they arrive. Methinks they will be a conversation starter wherever I wear them & a holiday lace demo in Pittsburgh should be the inaugural occasion! There are lots of fun lacy ideas out there & to that end, I just received Broderie et Dentelle sur Carton Perfore by Veronique Maillard. Since the technique involves using an Xacto knife to make lace out of perf paper, I also ordered a Klutz Glove (kevlar)!
