I think there are some gargoyle-ish designs in Ulrike Lohr's box "Hausdrachen". The designs are supposedly all dragons (except the bats, of course), but some look more like gargoyles to me and one is snakes (Medieval dragon?). Her patterns are generally not meant for beginners, but they usually have excellent diagrams to help with the tricky parts. I don't currently have access to my copy of Hausdrachen, so I can't be more specific. Maybe someone else can look and make a judgement. Robin Robin P.
