Orts - a word I have never heard before. I have been saving my cotton threads from bobbins to fill a pin cushion, - and probably have enough for a small one!! But I had no idea they had a name!!! Thank you for educating me!! Orts sounds so much better than scraps!!! :)) A ball of thread - a clew - that is a new one to me too. Gosh!
