Hello Lorelei and all others too,
there exist a wonderful book about those laces. Foreningen Knipling i Danmark 
made a big book in 2001. About those laces which you can see in the castle of 
Rosenborg. With the history and lots of recostructions of old such laces.
I don't know if it is still available.
Here, in Germany, the meaning to which type of lace they belong is different. 
Some people count them to the braid-laces others say they are a own sort of 
lace. It's easy and much fun to work them.
I'll have a look if there are still some of my pieces left (I gave away most of 
my trad. lace-pieces as presents). If so I'll do them in my album but I can't 
promise you something.
