I also LOVE this silk. My first order from them was 15 years ago and I still have yards of that skein. I've used it for many things and have dyed a little of the tussah. It works up lovely in Cluny/Beds type laces. The drapey hand is similar to the old pieces of Maltese. The company is fabulous to work with and nicely handle US funds. Also just a satisfied customer.
