Does anyone know much about the Royal Society in relation to needlework and
lace?  I see someone has a crocheted lace book on ebay, and I am curious about
their history of knowledge/offerings, as a quick Google search doesn't seem to
offer much.

Also, is/was there a Master Lace program, similar to the TKGA for Master
Knitters?  Sad are the loss of days when people like Terese Dillmont (ex.)
could go and study at length, all forms of needlework and lace in a
concentrated form, at a concerted place.  Perhaps there are/have been many
schools that encapsulated lace, and additionally, all other forms of
needlework?

TIA,
Susan Reishus
