Dear fellow Arachneans,
As the summer starts buzzing, and plans are being made, I had a simple
idea come to me.
I'm currently waiting for a postcard to arrive from Norway & I'm sure
that I'm not the only person who likes to receive as well as send
postcards to friends around the world.
And I'm sure that there are people like me who can't afford to travel to
a convention, congress or even a weekend workshop or retreat.
So, I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in participating in a
Postcard Swap?
The postcard can depict something related to lace or spiders, but does
not have to.
If you like my idea & wish to send a fellow Arachnean a postcard then
just send me a private email with "Postcard Swap" in the subject line,
and include your home or postal snail-mail address.
Indicate if you are staying "home" or will be "away" - there is no need
to tell me where you are going.
If you wish to send more than 1 postcard let me know that fact also.
I'll set a maximum of 3.
This has to be done fairly quickly, so please send me your info asap.
Then I'll match up a "home" name with an "away" name next Sunday & send
out emails on Tuesday.
Your postcard(s) may then be sent anytime during July & August.
Just remember to take the addresses with you. Or write them on
envelope(s) ready for the postcard.
If this is a dumb idea, please tell me that I'm crazy.
