I haven't gone to Hutzot haYotzer (International Arts & Crafts fair in
Jerusalem) for a couple years, so I was glad to get a chance this
year. I ran into Debbie, an Arachne lurker. This year there was a
Hungarian bobbin lace maker working on a narrow edging. There's a
photo of her in my blog posting:

In my Flickr set are a couple photos of the pillow and the lace pinned
to the boards above her. She didn't speak English or seem very chatty,
so I can't tell you anything more about her.

When I sent two years ago, I photographed a Polish lacemaker who tats
and makes bobbin lace. By chance, one of her cards was in the photo,
so I was able to put a name to the face:

found the photo on Flickr and is now one of my Facebook friends. She's
very talented and lives in Cracow.
