Thank you Jeanette and everyone for the compliments. I used linen thread and I find that my picots and plaits don't twist as much as if I was using cotton. Linen also has crisper feel and stays where I lace it. Not sure if the quality of thread is a factor or just a characteristic of linen thread. Hmmm....
