Liz - There are some recent books published by Editions Didier Carpentier. 1. CLUNY DE BRIOUDE by Mick Fouriscot & Odette Arpin, 1998. Beautiful patterns with lots of leaves. Attractive and graceful designs. More modern than 19th century in style. I would call these intermediate level. 2. LA GUIPURE DU PUY, by Mick Fouriscot & Nathalie Hubert, 2001. Beginning to intermediate level. Guipure du Puy is related to Cluny, but not exactly the same. Its characteristic is a trail which feeds pairs in and out on both sides of the trail constantly. Those of you who know of Christian IVth Danish patterns will recognize a similar kind of trail. 3. LA GUIPURE DU PUY Vol 2. PERFECTIONNEMENT. Fouriscot & Hubert, 2004. Intermediate level +.
I bought them all in the last 2 years, so they are still available. Lorelei Halley - To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [email protected]. For help, write to [email protected]
