Regarding the National Cathedral as a source of lace pattern inspiration, according to the website _http://www.nationalcathedral.org/visit/tourAndTea.shtml_ (http://www.nationalcathedral.org/visit/tourAndTea.shtml) They have an entire tour of needlework in the Cathedral. They claim there are over 1500 pieces of needlework in the Cathedral, portraying historic Americans, floral patterns, baby animals, and many other work painstakingly done "for the Glory of God". This tour reveals how the exquisite treasures of needlepoint convey messages throughout the Cathedral. Who knew? I wonder if they have any lace. Devon
