I have only had a card from one person, but it was more than a card - a postcard from their location, one of a piece of lace and a photograph from a lace exhibition. (These have been scanned and put onto the website) More than made up for only hearing from one person. Such a lovely surprise.
I hope the recipients of the cards I sent enjoyed the little bit of local history I shared with them.
