Hi Arachnids

Most lacemakers think of me as a puristand basically I am, but when I'm
teaching I encourage experimenting with different numbers of twists etc.
However, that does not allow you to be ignaorant of the 'standard' technique.
You cannot modify a stitch or number of twists unless you have something to
judge it against. Learn your standard techniques first then use all the
judgement you have to adapt them and make your lace as beautiful as it can
be.

Happy lacemaking

Alex
