I am off to teach a class so rushed, but looked up this from Nordic Needle:

The main point is to look at it conceptually, in that if you can do a SC, then
do that left handed, and turn your work clockwise, working the next, etc. as
the steps repeat.  (Your comment about left to right looking the same isn't
totally true, but to the layman it is.)

WHETHER YOU DO IT LEFT OR RIGHT HANDED, MUCH OF IT IS ABOUT EXECUTING THE
STITCH, AND THEN TURNING THE WORK CORRECTLY.

Of course this is a rushed summary.  Perhaps you are like me, where I tend to
make things too detailed, and assume they are more complicated than they are.

Perhaps I will hear back later when I return from class, or in the AM.

Best,
Susan Reishus
