Hi All, I have not done needle lace but have seen (saved it for my Croatian born friend) a U tube clip developed to encourage tourists. Ladies making Pag lace were working on cookie pillows on an angle as already described and they used both hands to tension the thread when necessary. Their hands moved very quickly.
The other two styles were Lepovka lace, a bobbin lace, and Hv..... (?spelling) which had mostly been worked in convents from hand spun fibres, seemed to be related to Teneriffe from what I remember.
