My cousin informed me that Pat Milne was the designer of the lace edgings made for the jabot & cuffs for the Australian Parliament. I just don't understand why the author of the article couldn't have given Pat the credit & mentioned her name.

I was also informed that:
"The Canberra Lacemakers are small group that just meet for their own interest in lacemaking and they aren't into websites etc. I doubt there will be anything in Australian Lace as they aren't affiliated with the ALG."

Even if the group is independent of the Australian Lace Guild, personally I think that they could share the end results of any major projects with other lacemakers in Australia, thus providing inspiration for other groups.

I was wondering if it is possible for lacemakers to see the lace jabots & cuffs when visiting Parliament House? It would be great if they were on display when not being worn. I've been searching for references to the lace jabot for the Parliament House & if I find anything I'll send the url to the list.

Pene in Tartu, Estonia where winter is fast approaching.
