Yes the days are flying by! I'm making gingerbread houses for the grands.
With dough leftover, I'll make gingerbread men, now I am wondering how I might make a lace-y gingerbread 'man' - could I get by with a lace ruff of thinly piped icing or would it look clownish? Any ideas, anyone, on what else might give a convincing lace effect? Can you see where this is going - if successful it will be my contribution to the lace group's potluck. I suppose the lace effect doesn't have to be edible - though that would be fun. Machine lace trim for the packaging if all else fails.
