I used the search mechanism on the Catalogue of the Crystal Palace. (Let me
take the opportunity to point out that Google books is making this
research opportunity available with a key word search, which you would never
have,
if you actually had access to the very lengthy and finely printed
catalogue itself.) A search of "bobbin" mostly brings up the bobbin-net
machine.
However, a search of "ivory" brings up quite a few (73) instances of carved
ivory items and ornaments, often grouped together without much specificity,
although in some cases references to " Ladies' work boxes".
A search of "lace" brings up 75 items, including a reference to the ever
mysterious Hamilton Lace with the name of a manufacturer. Hmm. Quite an
interesting historical document for those who have the time to comb through it.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time, today.
