I am going with a netting shuttle even though I can not find a similar one
in any of my books.
Netting shuttles come in all shapes and sizes depending upon the amount of
"string" (whatever) needs to be curled up on the bobbin, the fineness of the
net being made and finally, as I think possible in this case, the need to
protect the thread ( whatever material choice) during the making process.
The existence of a "click" shuttle end is the only thng that remains a
question in my mind, but I have never netted except for watching the
fishermen repair their nets.
My only netting shuttle is about a foot long!
