I have posted an article about "Kitty Fisher'..the beads and the Lucy Locket Rhyme

Also one of the "Lace Tell" the Jewess Maiden. This one could be a bit heavy unless you have a special interest. Kitty Fisher is always "interesting" !!!

You have to scroll down the page to find "Lemin"

I see there are 13 articles I have written, which is a bit of a surprise. I think there may be a few more somewhere but they are probably on "dead" web pages!

I have another "speculative" essay in the pipeline, just a collection of thoughts about East Midland bobbin origins. Just the sort of thing I would bore you with if we met over coffee. I am always interested in your comments and developmental ideas on the topics I have written about. Those of you who read them will see that the "Arachne List" wrote a lot of them. You do the work... I get the glory! :)

When I started on my bobbin quest I only knew of Wright and Freeman, then came Huetson into my sights; Palliser next and then Christine and David opened up the bobbin world. I/we owe them (The Springetts) a debt of gratitude. (No not chronological, just as I learned about them.)

Thanks too to the University of Arizona for hosting my stuff and a lot of other good information.

As the Australian Christmas is quite few hours before most of yours May I thank you for welcoming me back into the fold after a longish absence and wish you all a very Happy Christmas and Joyous New Year.
