The added $9 on top of postage to USA will certainly put a dint into sending gifts there.
What also bothers me, - with family in USA - is that many/seemingly most American stores won't take credit cards from anyone outside USA, so I can't even buy gifts or vouchers online. Grrr!! Daughter Helen has to shop for me for birthdays and Xmas, and I keep a 'kitty" over there with her to dib into when necessary. Barnes and Noble, are a "good' store, like Amazon, and will accept my money, and have been prompt in sending out the gift vouchers to Helen. Not very inspiring gifts, but the recipient can make their own choice., Other stores, - well, Helen kindly gets the gift vouchers for me. But it is a bit annoying!! Happy New year to everyone, and stay safe and well. Liz , still on holiday - in 36C heat!! (and Melbourne is 40C today!!! ) [email protected] - To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [email protected]. For help, write to [email protected]
