In regard to orange card: I have some old French prickings on orange card. And I've looked at a lot of photos of Spanish lacemakers on Picasa, and nearly all of them are using orange card. So apparently it is traditional. I've also noticed, since seeing all those Spanish lacemakers and what they are making, that there is some similarity between LePuy guipure and the Spanish laces. Interesting how neighboring countries affect each other's habits. Lorelei
