Dear Carolina and dear Jane, thank you for your informative replies. These do really help. Some years ago I tried to do some designing using Corel draw, but now I discovered that I somehow got an update installed where I can't find certain funktions anymore.
Now I am thinking of getting Lace and hope to make a useful start in a reasonable time.
