As for what Jo says Bobbinworks can do, I want to spend as little time as
possible on the computer and more time on the actual lace. If I design
something, seeing how the threads run through the ground on paper mean
absolutely nothing to me, nor does fewer or extra twists on paper. I prefer
to get the basic design printed out and then play with the ground (I'm not
clever enough to do anything in Flanders or Binche grounds and stick with
Bucks, Torchon and plaited grounds), colours and motif detail on the pillow.
I don't mind how many times I undo and redo something until I get the result
I want. We all have different ways of working and threads on pillow is mine.
So I'll stick with Lace.
