In case anyone wants a weather report, Chicago is digging out from a mound of snow that fell last night. I don't know the official measure yet, but it looks like 14-18 inches. We had thunder and lightning yesterday evening along with 50 mph wind gusts. I could hear it whistling around the windows. I've been watching my younger neighbors spending the whole day in the parking lot, digging out their cars. But Chicago can cope with snow. Australia has had a worse time.
