I suppose that really the leek or daffodil should be prominent in any design
because William's official title is His Royal Highness Prince William of
Wales. As heir to the throne after Charles, when/if Charles becomes king he
will take over Charles' title of Princes of Wales, without the William. He
enrolled at university as William Wales and also uses that in his job as a
search and rescue helicopter pilot. (Prince Harry also uses the name Harry
Wales in his military career.) Wonder if that means that they will become
the House of Wales instead of the current Queen's House of Windsor.
He has other titles, but the Wales one is the most prominent.
Can't remember what Charles signed when he married Camilla.
