Hi Arachnids I seem to have caused waves re. hand holding. To me it is being very supportive and giving all the information required, i.e. not only teaching the the techniques but when, where, how and why they are used and not expecting those learning from me to work that out for themselves. I don't expect my students to reinvent the wheel.
