Hello Again! Now you know why I posted--hoping our Spanish speaking friends would help out! I don't see this as TdeD either. After a quick check of my modern copy--nothing looks the same, content (dressmaking, flower making, passementerie etc) or drawings. Isn't it more like a Godey's Ladies Book (French version??) or something like that? The Dibujos de encajes par trabajar a punto toward the end caught my eye. Knitted lace samples? Very pretty, some look like "cuffs". Another possibility is that there is a French version of TdeD that we don't have here in the US? Some vintage DMC publications in Russian, German & Italian don't mirror the French or US versions with which I am familiar, i.e. motifs are quite specific to the country while the alphabets remain similar except for linguistic differences (esp. Russian). Oh well, I've downloaded it so I can peruse at leisure another day. I've started the scarf with Oliver Twist embellishments fibers, slow going & it will be on hiatus for a week. Sincerely, Susan Hottle, Erie, PA soon to be off on an EGA (Embroiderers' Guild) regional seminar
