Oh, Nancy, isn't it true.  I made my own pillow from the instructions in Doris 
Southard's book, bought some Danish bobbins, the only ones available at the 
time, some hanks of Frederick Fawcett thread, and 8 ounces of 40/2 linen from 
Mannings Handweaver in south central Pennsylvania, actually a weaving and 
spinning shop, and thought this was a cheap hobby. HAH!!!  

The thread is still cheap, but books are my downfall.  Fortunately, I use 
Continental bobbins, but those aren't really cheap either.  Thank goodness for 
ethafoam.
